Handmade Kitchens
Bespoke Handmade Kitchens In Suffolk.
Furniture grade kitchens, individually designed and handmade.
A bespoke kitchen should be more than simply a collection of cabinets. It should be thoughtfully designed around your home, your lifestyle and your individual taste, with every detail carefully considered.
At Storm Furniture, we design and manufacture truly bespoke handmade kitchens from our workshop in Beccles, Suffolk. Every kitchen is individually made to order, allowing complete freedom over layout, proportions, materials and finishes, creating a kitchen that’s built specifically for your home rather than adapted from standard-sized units.
Whether you prefer a timeless painted shaker kitchen, a contemporary design with clean lines, or something entirely unique, every cabinet is handcrafted using traditional cabinet-making techniques combined with modern precision machinery. Our dedicated in-house spray finishing facility provides an extensive choice of durable painted finishes, while carefully selected hardwoods, veneers and solid timber can be incorporated to create a truly individual kitchen.
Unlike many kitchen manufacturers, our background in bespoke furniture and fine joinery allows us to introduce features that elevate a kitchen beyond the ordinary. Reeded timber panels, reeded glass display cabinets, handcrafted mouldings, curved cabinetry, decorative inlays, marquetry, premium veneers and contrasting timber details can all be incorporated to create a kitchen with genuine character and individuality. From elegant pantry cupboards and glazed dressers to statement islands and bespoke storage solutions, every detail is designed with both beauty and practicality in mind.
Each kitchen is built with the same attention to detail that goes into every piece of furniture we make, including carefully fitted cabinetry, premium hardware, solid timber dovetailed drawers where appropriate, and beautifully finished interiors. The result is a kitchen that not only looks exceptional but is built to provide decades of reliable everyday use.
If you’re looking for a bespoke handmade kitchen in Suffolk that reflects your own style rather than following a standard catalogue, we’d be delighted to discuss your ideas and create something completely unique.
Why Choose A Handmade Kitchen?
A truly bespoke kitchen starts with the room itself — not a range of standard cabinet sizes. Every home is different, and designing from scratch allows the kitchen to make the best use of the space, whether that means working around unusual proportions, creating additional storage or making a particular feature of an island, pantry or run of cabinetry.
It also means the design can be much more personal. Rather than choosing from a fixed collection, the proportions, layout and individual details can be developed around your home and the way you want to use it. Small changes can make a significant difference, both practically and visually.
For us, one of the most important parts of the process is getting those details right. A kitchen should feel as though it belongs to the house — considered as part of the room rather than simply fitted into it.
The result is a kitchen that is individual to you, practical to live with and designed to remain relevant for many years to come.

Storm Furniture did an amazing job on our custom bookshelves. We had a specific vision in mind, and their design team worked closely with us to bring it to life. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and the materials used are of the highest quality. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the project took a bit longer than expected, but it was well worth the wait. We love our new shelves!
