Storm Furniture is a bespoke furniture, fitted interiors, handmade kitchen and specialist joinery company based in Beccles, Suffolk. From our fully equipped workshop, we design, manufacture and install beautifully crafted furniture and joinery for homeowners, interior designers, architects, builders and commercial clients throughout Suffolk and across the UK.
Every project is designed around the individual client, with no standard sizes or off-the-shelf solutions. From bespoke freestanding furniture and fitted wardrobes to home offices, media walls, boot rooms, libraries, handcrafted kitchens, timber windows, doors and architectural joinery, everything is made to order with exceptional attention to detail and built to stand the test of time.
Combining traditional cabinet-making techniques with modern machinery and precision manufacturing, we work with a wide range of premium materials, including solid hardwoods, decorative veneers, specialist sheet materials, metals and architectural hardware. Every component is carefully manufactured in-house before being professionally finished in our dedicated spray finishing facility, producing durable, furniture-quality finishes in an extensive choice of colours and sheens.
Alongside our bespoke residential work, we manufacture high-quality products for selected brands, designers and trade clients, delivering the same precision, consistency and craftsmanship whether producing a one-off commission or a larger production run.
Our sister company also designs and manufactures a distinctive collection of handcrafted timber lighting, complementing our bespoke interiors with elegant, furniture-grade lighting that reflects the same commitment to craftsmanship and original design.

Get to know Terry
Growing up in an artistic family, Terry developed a passion for making and creating from an early age. That passion led him to study Furniture Making at college in Ipswich, where he trained as a cabinet maker and developed the foundations of the skills he continues to build on today.
Since then, Terry has spent years working in workshops, designing and manufacturing everything from traditional windows and doors to bespoke furniture, fitted interiors and specialist joinery. With experience across a wide range of materials, techniques and finishes, he has developed his own approach to craftsmanship, combining traditional skills with modern methods to create pieces that are both beautiful and practical.
Driven by a constant desire to learn and experiment, Terry has also developed a collection of unique handcrafted lighting designs, using techniques and processes refined over many years of making. These distinctive pieces complement his furniture and reflect his passion for thoughtful design and attention to detail.
Today, Terry works from his workshop in Beccles, Suffolk, where he designs, manufactures and finishes every project with the same care and dedication that first inspired him to enter the craft. Whether creating a one-off piece of furniture, a fitted interior or a bespoke lighting design, his focus remains the same: exceptional quality, honest craftsmanship and lasting design.
