Pear Drop silk lamp

This is the Pear Drop lantern-Lamp.  A luxurious lamp made with a rigid birch ply frame and covered with locally hand dyed silk. This particular silk is dyed using red onion skins and iron which give natural earthy patterns. The top stem is solid walnut and the spines are covered using dark linen strips, we class this lamp as a mood-light giving a warm cozy glow. The lantern has been made to fit a specially designed birch ply and white ash lamp base which has a cage to locate the lantern in safe postion and allowing access to the bulb.

Please note: The hand dyed silks patterns will vary but will always have earthy tones
